This is my new baby, the Sigma 30mm 1.4 lens.
I've been using the Cannon 50mm 1.8 & the Cannon 18-55mm,
but I was constantly switching them out depending on if I was taking portraits or landscapes.
After my 50mm broke, it was the perfect excuse to get a more versatile lens.
I'm so excited to have one lens that does everything I need it to.

Did you sell your camera yet? I have no experience with a camera that's not point and click. How much time have you invested in learning to use one?

DeleteI have spent a lot of time learning to use it. But that's because I have a love for photography & I really care about the quality of my pictures. But you can spend as little or as much time as you want depending on what you are wanting to do with the camera.
